A lovely Sunday afternoon

This afternoon my parents and I were outside doing some work around the yard. We were burning some tree limbs, clearing out the space for the new house! Then all of a sudden HUNDREDS of birds started chirping and it sounded just like a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. Then all those HUNDREDS of birds started flying through the air. There were blacks spots all over the sky. I ran inside and grabbed my camera (which I knew I should have taken outside with me in the first place). And I managed to get one good photo of some of the last few birds migrating south.

Me and Chris did yard work today too. He mowed the lawn for the first time this year, I pulled up a few weeds out of the flower bed, we cleaned up the backyard, took the dogs for a walk, and then went and hung out with our neighbors.
