I haven't seen the soap made like this! I've always seen/read you have to bring it all to a boil and mix it w/all this water. I made it a few times like that. It worked for mine & my kid's clothes but not my husband's. (he's an industrial mechanic)
I'd like to try this way. If I find I'm more likely to make it this way that would be great! I would use it for fabric & the kids clothes.

Lots of people say I was born in the wrong era. I love Happy Days, vinyl records, the Lawrence Welk show, M*A*S*H, old musicals, Route 66, and so much more. I like sewing, cooking, reading, and taking photos. My favorite place in the world is Branson, especially Silver Dollar City. I started a weekly sewing show called 'Whitney Sews' over seven years ago. I also have two etsy stores- GenerationGap and VintagebyWhitney.
