Life Update...

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

You can't say it much better then that...and now I have to memorize it! I'm taking media ethics and law this semester and we're required to memorize the first amendment for the first test.

I'm really nervous right now (hence the ramblings of this post) for two reasons. The first being that Kevin is doing is senior recital preview RIGHT NOW!!

In order for a music major to graduate they must perform a senior recital and to do that they must do a senior recital preview for the music faculty. I'm nervous for him. I know that he's really good and I'm so proud of him yet things like this still make my worry a lot.

The second reason why I'm nervous is because I have a rather large assignment due tomorrow at noon. It is a 6 minute radio feature that will actually be aired on the NPR station that covers about a third of the state and streams live on the internet! That is enough to scare the crap out of you, let alone the fact that I only have access to the lab for an hour and a half :/

So anyway...enough of me unloading my stress. I'm headed back to work in the scene shop...

*Edit* I got a message from Kevin a little bit ago that said "I passed" I'm so excited!

Congrats to Kevin!!!! Good luck to you too!!

P.S.-I had to memorize the 1st Amendment in college too. Just do it a few words at a time and repeat it all day. The best time to say it over and over is in the shower. :)
