It's official...

...he passed!

I can finally stop praying the same prayer I've been praying for the last month that everything will go good and that Kevin will do the very best that he possibly can.

Tonight (Thursday) was Kevin's senior recital, and he did a great job! Friends, family, and classmates all came out to see Kevin perform. The president of the university even came to the recital- he comes to almost all of the stuff on campus and it really means a lot to us! I was so proud and I'm not ashamed to admit that I totally teared up during the first song...anyway, he did so great and looked very handsome by the way. And I took a lot of pictures...




















We were both so nervous earlier today. All we could do to make it better was try to laugh. At one point I found a copy of the program and I turned to him with the most in awe face and said, "can I have your autograph?!?" He laughed at me :) but I really did get it later as a joke.


Afterwards there was a reception where we had Reese's, chips and salsa, and cake That's what he asked for...(it wasn't just any chips and salsa, it was from his favorite restaurant). When Kevin walked into the reception m friend Katie turned to me and said that I was beaming with pride! The funny thing was I didn't even realize that I was smiling :)





Ok, I've tried to put what I'm feeling into words and it's just not working...I'm not conveying it very well. So here's the gist of it: Kevin did amazing, I'm proud beyond words, we're glad that it's over with now, I'm proud of him, it was fun getting to hang out with friends and family, and did I mention that I'm ReaLLY stinkin' proud of Kevin?!?
