Pretty Notions

I had challenged myself to blog once a week...but missed the last two weeks. I'm been busy with packing, family coming into town, practice for the Eater drama, and several other things. So instead of doing much text blogging today I am going to leave you all with a photo I took today. I pulled out the camera, arranged some wooden spools of thread, and snapped some pics. I really love one of them...so here it is...

Photoshoot

Here are some of the raw photos from the 5/8/09 photoshoot for the East Central University Centennial Look Book and the promotional catalogue. I forgot that I hadn't put any up yet until I was going through the photos for the last post. So here are a few of them. The ones for the actual catalogue will be cropped and a background will be inserted where the green screen is. They wanted photos of people who work behind the scenes so we did some photos with our costumer stuff and they wanted some dramatic theatrical photos. The photographer did the eye make-up for us to make our eyes DRAMATIC!... As always you can click the photos to enlarge.

Nature

New Products/New Type of Photos

I love being at home and our new house...but it has a down side. There is nowhere in this house where I can get good lighting for a photo. So until I get a light kit I have to take photos outside (I haven't tried the garage yet...so we'll see about that). Anyway, I have some new items to put up on etsy so I did a test run yesterday and I love the results! I used a rustic wooden bench on the porch as the background and it is so my style. Here are some of yesterday's photos...aren't the colors beautiful?!?

Graduation Pictures

-ness when up on my etsy today :) I went shopping and found tons of great things that I just had to buy...which is bad since I'm working on packing up my dorm room right now. Which BTW I don't want to pack up all my vintage shoes so there is going to be a 20-25% off sale on all the vintage shoes on my etsy! More on that soon...
