Butterfly shirt- Kids section at thrift store- $.50

Shoes- Hand-me-downs from my high school art teacher (loved her)- FREE!

Necklace (made to be worn long, but I don't like long necklaces)- Same store as the ring from yesterday and on the same day so also on sale for... $1

Entire outfit- $5

Day 7

Arizona Jeans- $15

Tank from Wal-Mart- $7 (came with scarf and necklace)

SO Flowered Western Shirt- $6

Necklace- I made it!

Ring from the Icing- $1

Day 3- A Trip to Wal-Mart

Day 1

I’ve never been one to cry and complain about my feelings on the internet, or in person for that matter. But so far this week has been kinda crappy…I’ll just leave it at that. I’ve had trouble having the motivation to even get dressed. Then last night I read a blog post by Keiko Lynn that really struck a chord with me. I read her blog a lot. I found her through a t-shirt surgery community I’m a member of on livejournal. Keiko is an amazing seamstress and is just so adorable! She blogs about fashion, her online clothing store, and her everyday life (which always consists of adorable outfits!) She wrote this post late last night and I was inspired by it to not only get dressed each day, but to take a photo of my outfit…I might even be motivated enough to put on shoes! I’ll be posting some of the more interesting outfits on here for fun and to prove that I am sticking with this.

So here is day one…

Jeans- Arizona Brand from JC Penny $2.17 on sale with coupon

Shirt- Wal-Mart $3

Vest- Free (During the last week there is a free box in the dorms that you can put things you don't want anymore or don't have room to take how. There will be everything in it from lamps and rice cookers to shoes and shirts. Anyone if free to take what they want and the rest goes to the thrift store)

Shoes- TOMS Shoes got them for like $24 on clearance...I don't remember the website though...
